Multicultural/BIPOC Counselor and Psychologist or Counselor
Carleton College is currently seeking a Multicultural/BIPOC Counselor and a Psychologist or Counselor for its Student Health and Counseling (SHAC) office to provide counseling services to students, within a multidisciplinary medical and mental health clinic.
The Multicultural/BIPOC Counselor will conduct a variety of educational workshops and outreach offerings for students, faculty, and staff, particularly focused on needs of Multicultural / BIPOC students.
The Psychologist or Counselor, in addition to addressing mental health challenges that bring students to therapy, this position helps students address issues of culture, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, and other aspects of identity within the context of psychotherapy with emerging adults.
Other primary responsibilities for both positions include, initial intakes, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and documentation of all clinical contacts. Counselors also act as a liaison between the students and other campus staff and faculty, as well as community providers and parents.
Both positions are regular full-time, 40 hours per week, 10-months/year (0.83 FTE) benefit eligible position.

The successful candidate has a Master’s degree in counseling or social work, or a Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology. Minnesota licensure eligibility is also required.
