The Department of Bioengineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) invites applications for a full-time faculty member for a tenure-track or tenured position in neuroimaging. Senior and mid-career faculty are encouraged to apply, but all qualified candidates will be considered. A successful candidate is ex pected to possess a demonstrated track record of productivity and experience in neuroimaging research and interdisciplinary collaboration. Minimum qualifications iclude an earned doctorate in bioengineering, biomedical engineering, or relevant areas of the physical and life sciences and the ability to teach effectively at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Candidates are expected to demonstrate evidence of a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through research, teaching, and/or service endeavors.

A highly distinguished senior level candidate may also be considered for a tenured Full or Associate Professor endowed position as part of the Grainger Engineering Breakthroughs Initiative, which is backed by a $100-million gift from the Grainger Foundation.
