DIRECTOR OF ANATOMY LAB/TENURE TRACK ASST./ASSOC. PROF. OF KINESIOLOGY & INTEGRATIVE PHYSIOLOGY

DEPARTMENT OF KINESIOLOGY & INTEGRATIVE PHYSIOLOGY, HANOVER COLLEGE, seeks applicants for the position of Director of the Anatomy Laboratory and Tenure Track, Assistant/Associate Professor.  The combined roles entail a 10-month appointment beginning August 1, 2021. Duties include oversight of activities associated with the newly renovated Human Anatomy Laboratory and coordinating efforts between the undergraduate and graduate Doctor of Physical Therapy programs. Teaching duties include a human anatomy class with a dissection cadaver laboratory component to undergraduate students, most with aspirations of attending graduate or professional school (DPT, PA, Medical School, etc.). Teaching duties also include a human physiology class with a lab component and an elective course reflecting the successful candidate’s strengths. Maintaining lab facilities and resources, and in particular the cadaver dissection lab, is a major responsibility that requires considerable ongoing close attention. Other responsibilities include engagement in scholarly activities, advising, and committee assignments. Minimum requirements include a doctorate degree (ABD considered) in an appropriate field and relevant experience teaching Anatomy and conducting a cadaver dissection lab.
