Position Summary:

This position reports directly to the Associate Director of Communications and works primarily with members of the alumni and external relations team on the development and execution of alumni and donor communications. This cross-functional role supports copywriting and digital production needs for the School's alumni engagement strategy. This position also helps tell important, high-impact stories to target audiences, including donors and alumni. Candidates should have experience writing, with the desire to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, growing advancement team.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related field required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

3-5 years of writing experience preferred. Excellent organizational skills, fluency with digital communications, and strong written and verbal communication skills and time management skills required; well-qualified applicants will have experience with advancement editorial writing and copywriting for events and promotion. Experience in non-profit or higher education setting preferred. Editing and editorial planning experience is a plus.
