  • Assume academic responsibilities as directed by Chair of Osteopathic Principles & Practice.
  • Assist with Year 2 responsibilities and lectures as directed by Chair of OPP and Course Director(s).
  • Maintain ATSU-SOMA presence and relationships in professional organizations.
  • Assume academic responsibilities as directed by Chair of Osteopathic Principles & Practice.
  • Assist with Year 2 responsibilities and lectures as directed by Chair of OPP and Course Director(s).
  • Mentor students, precept fellows.
  • Maintain ATSU-SOMA presence and relationships in professional organizations.
  • Assume academic responsibilities as directed by Chair of Osteopathic Principles & Practice.
  • Must excel in teaching of Osteopathic Principles and Practices in didactic as well as small group and hands-on
    sessions.
  • Must be an excellent clinician to provide quality osteopathic patient care and continuity of osteopathic patient care.
  • Education of inter-professional administrative and support and other professional students.
  • Preceptor for osteopathic medical students, dental students, and other professional students as needed.
  • Preceptor for OMM teaching fellow(s).
  • Administrative responsibilities as directed by the Chair of OPP.
  • Assist with Year 2 responsibilities and lectures as directed by Chair of OPP and Course Director(s).
  • Assist with Fellowship program responsibilities with OPP Chair and Course Director(s).
  • Mentor students.
  • Maintain ATSU-SOMA presence and relationships in professional organization.
Skills/ Requirements
  • Must excel in the teaching of Osteopathic Principles and Practices in didactic as well as small group and hands-on sessions.
  • Must be an excellent clinician to provide quality osteopathic patient care and continuity of osteopathic patient care.
  • Must be a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
  • Specific training in Osteopathy in the Cranial Field (OCF).
  • NMS/OMM board certified DO or other osteopathic board certification or equivalent.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in undergraduate medical education.
  • One to two years of experience preferred.
  • Clinical practice integrating OMM.
