In support of the 24/5 operations at Cline Library, we are seeking a night owl who finds the idea of overnight hours appealing. At this time primary work hours will be: Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 PM - 7:30 AM. This position requires the flexibility to work extended and non-standard work hours as needed to accomplish objectives. This position provides oversight of the library and its services during the overnight hours; actively contributes to the programs and services provided at the Ask Us! Desk, the Cline Library MakerLab, and Content, Discovery and Delivery Services; and participates in conceptualizing, designing, delivering and improving user-focused services. The successful candidate will co-supervise overnight student employees, demonstrating leadership, supervision, and performance management skills in overseeing student employees. The successful candidate will ensure that student work meets library expectations and students remain productive; the position coaches student employees in meeting high-quality standards for all assigned tasks. The Library Coordinator, Intermediate, supports Content, Discovery and Delivery Services (CDDS) and the Cline Library MakerLab by processing interlibrary loan (ILL) borrowing requests and 3D print requests. The position reports to the Head of User Services and Experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree AND
- two years progressively responsible related library experience; OR,
- Six years progressively responsible library, information center, or related work experience; OR,
- Any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education.
