Assistant/Associate Professor

The School of Nursing at Southeastern Louisiana University invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing to begin January 2021. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and/or graduate-level nursing courses. Teaching efforts must demonstrate activities that encourage interaction with other students, faculty, the university, and/or the community, and support student success and learning in the classroom and clinical setting. The successful candidate must have a record of continuous professional development and engage in scholarly activities such as research, publishing, and presenting. Service to the University through committee work and participation in special projects and activities, service to students through academic and career guidance and participation in and support of student activities, and service to the community through activities utilizing professional knowledge and expertise, are expected of this position.

Doctorate in Nursing by hire date.  Must have an unencumbered RN licensure in Louisiana; a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as RN. Must be committed to working with diversity.
