Johns Hopkins University Presidential Management Fellowship

The Johns Hopkins University Presidential Management Fellowship is a year-long fellowship for recent JHU graduates interested in learning about the management of a large, complex and dynamic institution. Fellows will have a front-row seat to learn about strategy and decision making at a world class university and will gain indispensable experience in the management and governance of a worldwide leader in education and research.

A small cohort of select 2020 and 2021 JHU graduates (undergraduate and graduate degrees) will be embedded within the university’s central administration departments and will operate as internal consultants/advisors whose work informs decision making by senior leadership on a wide range of financial strategy, policy development and other high priority projects. Fellows will provide high-level analytic capacity and project management services on issues and initiatives of interest to university leadership. Fellows will also participate in a customized professional development program, attend regular small group sessions with senior university leaders, and work together on a capstone project.

The university seeks applicants to this exciting program who possess: strong analytic skills (both quantitative and qualitative); excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to work independently to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced setting; a collaborative and flexible working style; and strong organizational skills. Fellows must have a Bachelor’s, Master’s or other graduate-level degree earned from Johns Hopkins (or on track to be earned) between 5/1/2020 and the program start date of 7/1/2021.
