Mathematical & Physical Sciences (Middletown): Assistant Professor to teach General Chemistry but an emphasis on Analytical Chemistry and their associated laboratories in support of the Forensic Science program starting August 2021; maintain an active research agenda with focus in areas that enable collaboration with the members of the MPS department, environmental biology and engineering faculty and involve undergraduate students; will provide general advising to undergraduates and performing service to the department, the university, and the community.

Required: Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry by date of appointment.

Desired: Consideration may be given to candidates who have a commitment to excellence in undergraduate chemistry teaching and to student involvement in research; to candidates with a strong background in Analytical Chemistry, in support of the Forensic Science program, and to candidates with experience teaching face-to-face, online, or hybrid formats.
