POSITION: The Department of Marketing in the College of Business & Economics at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its part-time lecturer pool to teach undergraduate courses in Marketing, including (but not limited to):

-Principles of Marketing

-Consumer Behavior

-Advertising

-Market Research

-Market Strategy

-Retail Marketing

-Global Marketing

-Digital Marketing

-Marketing Analytics

-Services Marketing

-Sales

This a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary. APPOINTMENTS FROM THE PART-TIME POOL ARE TEMPORARY AND OFTEN MADE JUST PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ACADEMIC TERM. APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold at least a Master's degree in Business or Marketing or a related field and have relevant professional work experience. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of faculty, staff and students, including first-generation college students.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to applicants with a doctoral degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, successful related teaching experience at the university level and current relevant work experience. Additionally, preference will be given to applicants with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment.

Our Department of Marketing prepares students to be marketing leaders by developing a fundamental understanding of marketing functions and mastering the necessary skill sets. We bring state-of-the-art concepts and practices to the classroom, including use of cutting-edge technology for design, research, analysis, and customer service. Students can focus on areas such as digital marketing, social media marketing, advertising & promotions, marketing analytics, brand management, sales, and marketing strategy.

As a further condition to this offer, you are authorizing our third party background screening provider to complete its background check as necessary when the courts re-open and are further agreeing to execute, to the extent necessary, any documentation required in order to complete your background check upon the courts' re-opening. Please note, that continued employment is contingent upon your successful completion of a background screening as required under CSU policy. Faculty rehired at CSUF after a break in service of 12 or more months who have not had a CSUF background check within the past 12 months will be subject to a new background check; rehire is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of the new background check
