Applications are invited for a non-tenure track faculty position as an Associate for one to three years to perform research on genetic and environmental mechanisms involved in the pathophysiology of autism spectrum disorder using mouse models. A doctoral degree or an equivalent professional degree is required. Expertise with transgenic mouse models, behavioral testing and analysis, stereotaxic surgery, gonadal hormone manipulation, pharmacological techniques, viral vector administration, statistical analysis, in vivo and ex vivo imaging, and microscopy is required. A background in pharmacology and physiology, and four or more years of relevant postdoctoral experience is also required. Appointees will be expected to obtain funding and to assist the lab director with grant applications. Research experience in computational analysis desired.
