Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management, Management with a background/specialty in Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent degree. The ability to teach in a secondary area such as Analytics, MIS, or OM would also be valuable. To support online options, a proven ability to teach in that format is strongly preferred. Salary and benefits are AACSB competitive (3/3 teaching load and travel/faculty development support).
Job Duties
As a tenure-track faculty member, the hired candidate will be required to teach three courses in each of the fall and spring semesters, publish impactful scholarly research and participate in service (committees, advisement, etc.) to the department, college, and university. Attendance at periodic meetings and holding regular office hours will also be expected. The courses assigned will primarily be in supply chain management – though, may include other areas as department needs dictate – at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels, and in any of traditional (face-to-face), accelerated, and online formats. The position is also expected to support the college’s Center for Supply Chain Excellence.
