This instructor would provide Automotive Technology dual credit courses at the Lake County Tech Campus.

Required Qualification

Currently hired or who will be hired by the Lake County Tech Campus.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Education – OR – Industrial Technology, including thirty-five (35) college/university semester hours – OR – equivalent in Automotive Technology

- OR Five (5) years industrial experience as an Automotive Technician – OR – automotive instructor, ending within three (3) years of application to the teaching position, – AND -Current certification by the ASE in at the area being taught plus A6 Electrical/Electronic Systems – AND – G1 Auto Maintenance - AND Light Repair.

Ability to work effectively and constructively with persons of diverse cultures, gender identities, language groups, and abilities; demonstrate sensitivity to and ability to work with the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
