Join our graduate faculty at Montana State University-Northern.
We are located in Havre, Montana, the Hill County seat. Havre
offers access to outdoor activities in the mountains, prairies,
rivers, streams, and lakes of north central Montana. Havre has a
vibrant downtown, delightful parks, civic offerings, and a
community theater.
Reporting to the college dean, the Counselor Education position
requires teaching, service and/or scholarship responsibilities, as
well as eligibility for licensure in the State of Montana. The
position involves collaborating with faculty across the College of
Arts, Sciences, and Education, supervising clinical experiences,
and performing service to the department, college, university, and
the professional community. Additional responsibilities include the
development of relationships with school districts and regional
cooperative education services. The individual will teach graduate
level counseling courses in both school and mental health
counseling, and supervise interns in school related and mental
health settings.
The position is a 10-month, tenure-track appointment, and the
salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and
experience.
