The Department of Information Systems in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for multiple faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor starting Fall 2021.  The W. P. Essential Functions.  The candidate must contribute to the Department of Information Systems’ mission in the areas of research, teaching and service, and must be able and willing to teach business analytics and information systems courses to both undergraduate and graduate students.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications. 

1) A PhD in business administration, information systems or a closely related field; ABD candidates must successfully defend their dissertation by July 1, 2021; 2) Evidence of potential for excellence in research publications at top-tier journals and a promising agenda; 3) Professional experience within the IS or other related community.

Desired Qualifications. 

1) A strong research agenda as evidenced by papers published or forthcoming in top-tier academic journals; 2) Demonstrated evidence of teaching potential for excellence at both undergraduate and graduate levels; 3) Involvement with industry partnerships and a record of externally funded research.
