Associate or Full Professor of Economics

Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis

 

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure- track Associate or Full Professor of Economics faculty position beginning August 2021. The individual hired will be affiliated with the “Bagwell Center for the Study of Markets and Economic Opportunity” and a member of the faculty in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis, Coles College of Business.

 

Position responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in economics at a highly effective level, maintaining a quality research pipeline, publishing in quality academic journals, and performing meaningful service for the department and profession. The qualified applicant should also have a strong interest and passion for working with our “Bagwell Center for the Study of Markets and Economic Opportunity.”

 

The qualified applicant should have an earned Doctorate, or its foreign equivalent, in Economics or related discipline and a record of publication in peer reviewed academic journals which would warrant appointment at the level of Associate or Full Professor. Strong preference will be given to applicants with specializations in the fields of Public Economics or Industrial Organization, but qualified applicants with a policy relevant research agenda in other economic subfields are also encouraged to apply.
