Johns Hopkins University’s (JHU) University Student Services division is seeking a communications professional within its new shared Student Services Organization (SSO). The person who fills this position will help plan, design, implement and manage communications and content strategy related to the SSO across a variety of channels, primarily digital and web. The person in this role will work closely with functional leadership in the areas of registration, student accounts, financial aid, and student customer service to develop a comprehensive, aligned approach to communications across these areas.
This is a new position within a brand new unit, so whomever fills this role will have the opportunity to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment; to create and develop communications campaigns and materials; to influence the development of the SSO’s social media and web strategy; and to work with and learn from leaders in a number of different functional areas. They will work closely with central communications as well as communications staff and functional managers in each of JHU’s schools.
