    The Full Time COVID Management Nurse Practitioner works closely with the CHW Director of Medical Operations and the other CHW Nurse Practitioners to manage COVID-19 cases within our student population. This position will fill the need for evening and weekend coverage.

    Responsibilities include provision of direct care to students, primarily via telehealth, when confirmed positive for COVID-19, exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, or identified as a close contact of someone with COVID-19. The COVID Management Nurse Practitioner will take the lead on entering data into MAVEN (MA database for COVID management) and communicating closely with the Contact Tracing Collaborative and MA local departments of public health as often as needed. In collaboration with the CHW Director of Medical Operations, the COVID Management Nurse Practitioner will work to improve upon existing protocols and practices as COVID work continues to evolve to meet the needs of our population and serve as the point-person for Protocall, Residence Life, and other campus partners, in the evenings Tuesday – Saturday.

    Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

    Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Masters Degree required.
    • Demonstrated experience with data management and clinical documentation required. MA approved access to MAVEN preferred.
    • Experience with managing COVID-19 cases, preferable in the young adult population.
    • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, creativity, and ability to quickly step into new roles and responsibilities required.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
    • Must be able to work 2PM to 10PM Tuesday through Saturday – position may be 100% remote if approved by the manager.
