Position Summary:

The Department of Radiology, UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health, is seeking a Radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career in Pediatric Vascular Interventional Radiology at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor on the CHS (Clinical Health Sciences) Track.

Principal Duties:

Primary focus and duties are in all modalities of Pediatric Vascular Interventional Radiology. The pediatric interventional radiologist will perform all pediatric interventions, ranging from pediatric vascular malformation diagnosis and treatment, ultrasound guided tumor and liver biopsies, musculoskeletal interventions, lumbar punctures, pediatric vascular interventions for renal artery stenosis, etc. Clinical work will be performed at American Family Children's Hospital and University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics.

The successful applicant will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. Clinical or basic research is required. Department teaching assignments include medical students, residents, fellows and other professionals. Participate in departmental outreach as appropriate. Participate in departmental, school, university and professional service appropriate to the faculty rank. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

MD or DO required

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Fellowship training in Vascular Interventional Radiology required
Significant experience or fellowship training in Pediatric Interventional Radiology preferred

For appointment at Associate Professor or Professor rank on CHS Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the CHS Track Track.

License or Certificate:

Wisconsin medical licensure required prior to start date
Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology or Board certified or board eligible in Vascular and Interventional Radiology
