The Institute of Philosophy at National Sun Yat-sen University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan (R.O.C.), invites applications for a non-tenure track position (Assistant Professor or above). The appointment is to be effective on August 1, 2021

Qualification:

1. a) Candidates should have a nationality other than R.O.C.
2. b) Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in philosophy
3. c) Candidates should be able to teach in both Mandarin and English
4. d) Candidates should have at least two years teaching experience

Research field:

Contemporary German and French philosophy

Application Documents:

1. a) Curriculum vitae, including a list of publications
2. b) A photocopy of certificate/evidence of currently held academic  position if any
3. c) A photocopy of the Ph.D. diploma ( including a photocopy of R.O.C. authentication)
4. d) Doctoral thesis and offprints of recent publications (within five years)
5. e) Teaching subjects and course syllabi
6. f) Three recommendation letters

Deadline: All application materials must be received no later than Dec 20, 2020.
