Visiting/Clinical Instructor

The Department of Design, Housing and Merchandising (DHM) welcomes applications for the position of Visiting Professor or Clinical Instructor in Fashion Merchandising with relevant industry experience and expertise in visual merchandising, visual communication, and a demonstrated ability to teach industry-relevant technology applicable to both print and digital media. The position is a three-year renewable contract. Recent changes to the Fashion Merchandising program have created the need for a new faculty position. Beginning in August 2021 the Fashion Merchandising program will offer two unique tracks: Visual Communication or Fashion Buying and Planning. Interested applicants should possess skills for developing and teaching courses about visual communication and styling. The department also offers a highly innovative sustainable design minor.
