Language Lecturer

NYU Shanghai invites applications for full-time Language Lecturer positions to teach to a diverse group of students from around the world. We are seeking applicants to teach the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. 

For candidates in Chinese Language, we are particularly interested in those who have experience teaching creative writing and who can help us develop a course in the field.

NYU Shanghai is looking for dynamic individuals who are eager to contribute to its growing language programs through innovative teaching, student-centered initiatives, faculty development, and participation in the intellectual life of NYU Shanghai. Appointments are for three years effective September 1, 2021, subject to a review at the end of the first year; contracts are renewable. The deadline for submission is January 1, 2021.
