The Master of Social Work Program at Carlow University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position at the rank of assistant professor. This is a nine-month, full-time academic appointment to begin in the Fall 2021. We seek a scholar-practitioner with an understanding of trauma-informed approaches across all systems and knowledge of research-informed practice. Applicants must have: experience in teaching program development and research at the graduate level; skills in either direct or macro practice; experience with online course development; and interest in collaborating on group research projects. In addition, applicants must be: interested in growing enrollment in a graduate program; developing and teaching online and hybrid courses; have experience working with diverse populations; and have a commitment to the social justice mission of Carlow University and to the MSW Program’s mission and values.   Requirements:   Applicants must hold an MSW from a CSWE accredited program and have an earned doctorate in social work or a doctorate in a closely related field and (2) years of experience as a practicing social worker (post-MSW) and two years of experience teaching in higher education.   Please submit letter of introduction, CV, statement of teaching philosophy, a writing sample, teaching evaluations, and three references.
