The C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston seeks qualified applicants for three tenure-track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor positions in the Department of Finance, starting in the Fall of 2021. Assistant Professor candidates must hold a Ph.D. in finance or economics (or A.B.D.) and exhibit promise for high-quality research. Associate Professor professor candidates must have demonstrated ability to publish high quality research in top journals.

The AIM Center for Investment Management is a state-of-the-art trading and research facility; it houses the Cougar Investment Fund, LLC, a student-managed investment fund (with $12 million under management). The Gutierrez Energy Management Institute is an excellent finance education and research resource for the energy industry, actively supported by its corporate members. The Stanford Alexander Center is a joint initiative with Houston's real estate professional community.
