The Department of History at Columbia University seeks to hire a
distinguished scholar at the rank of tenure-track assistant
professor in the field of early American History to begin 1 July
2018. The successful candidate will be expected to offer graduate
and undergraduate seminars, as well as broad survey classes on
Colonial North America. The successful applicant will show evidence
of innovative scholarship and experience with teaching and
advising, and have the Ph.D. in hand by 1 July 2018. Applications
