Web Master and Graphic Designer
Position: Mid-Plains Community College is looking for an organized, creative and collaborative team player to fill an area graphic design and web specialist position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to creating and producing marketing materials such as flyers, posters, advertisements, digital ads and other reciting materials. CMS system management, design and the ongoing maintenance of the current MPCC website and related web pages will also be expected. This position will work collaboratively with the director and lead graphic designer to ensure all design and digital projects are managed timely and successfully through the HelpDesk management system.
Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county district in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. MPCC consists of three main campuses, one located in McCook, Nebraska and two located in North Platte, Nebraska. Qualified applicant hired for this position will have advanced skills in graphic design, web design, print, production, and project management with an extensive knowledge of the Adobe creative suite. Applicant must have an associate’s degree in a related discipline, knowledge of content management systems and experience in HTML and CSS is preferred. Video experience is a plus. A combination of postsecondary education and work experience is required.
