Position Summary
Dallas College is seeking an experienced, highly collaborative leader with a proven track record of enhancing academic quality, leadership excellence, diversity, equity and inclusion, and student success in a dynamic higher education environment. The Associate Director of IncludED
1. Provides oversight and strategic direction for IncludED, the College’s learning material inclusion program at
Dallas College in partnership with Follett Bookstores.
2. Collaborates with leadership across the College to ensure students have access to the appropriate learning
materials in a timely manner.
3. Oversees quality control of the IncludED process and serves as the primary liaison for Dallas College and
Follett, the College’s bookstore vendor.
4. Provides updates on IncludED processes regularly to stakeholders.
5. Ensures system and operational efficiencies in support of the Schools of Dallas College
6. Oversees a team of personnel who engage with School Vice Provosts, Deans, and faculty to ensure that
IncludED functions are executed seamlessly and efficiently with clear communication
7. Develops, identifies, and adheres to deadlines in relevant process maps
8. Resolves inquiries and works to build a better process
9. Provides support for the Director of Schedule Management.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Master’s degree required
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible teaching, administrative and educational leadership experience.
• Current and valid Texas driver’s license required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leads the IncludED Program -ensuring efficient and effective fulfillment of learning materials to all Dallas College students.
• Serves as the primary point-of-contact for all matters pertaining to the IncludED project.
• Works closely with IT, Academic Services, Student Services, the Business Office, and Follett
representatives to ensure seamless support of all IncludED process
• Works closely with IT, Helpdesk, and LMS teams to ensure a high level of student customer service for students and faculty on matters pertaining to IncludED.
• Manages the IncludEd team who are responsible for dissemination of adoption deadlines, monitoring of learning material adoptions for each School, entry of learning material adoptions in the Discover system, and laisse with bookstore managers and staff to troubleshoot and resolved adoption and fulfillment issues.
• Works closely with faculty leadership on ensuring faculty are informed about learning material adoption guidelines, procedures, and policies.
• Serve on college task forces, committees and councils as required.
• Ability to research, collect and analyze data to make decisions.
• Other duties may be assigned to this position on a regular or occasional basis to respond to needs of the Institute.
