In support of our pursuits, the College is searching for four faculty positions. With one of the most diverse student bodies in the nation, we seek to recruit and retain a diverse community of scholars. We seek experienced and ambitious colleagues whose research and teaching are strategically aligned with our ongoing work to address educational disparities. Descriptions for each position are presented below. Successful applicants for the tenure-track positions will have a sustained record of securing external funding and a strong record of mentoring and publishing with students; priority will be placed on tenured candidate applications. Substantive teaching experience in the case of the clinical posting is preferred.

The CUIN Department houses our award-winning undergraduate teacher education program in addition to graduate programs in Curriculum and Instruction. We seek one tenured or tenure-track colleague in the area of science education. For this position, the Department welcomes applicants who utilize a full range of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methodological approaches. Priority will be placed on applicants who value the reciprocal relationship between teaching and research and leverage that relationship to improve educational outcomes and end educational inequities.

The CUIN Department houses our award-winning undergraduate teacher education program in addition to graduate programs in Curriculum and Instruction. We seek one tenured or tenure-track colleague in the area of science education. Qualifications :

Applicants for this position must hold a doctoral degree in Science Education or in a related field, as well as demonstrate an active record of scholarship and external funding commensurate with experience. There must also be evidence of effective teaching ability, commitment to student success, and service to the profession. The applicant must provide evidence of knowledge regarding current research-based trends and cultural contexts in US schools through research work and course instruction.
