The Associate Director position is a full-time 12 month job that provides academic advising and success coaching to the teams of men’s basketball, men’s golf, men’s soccer, and women’s volleyball (subject to change as needed) and is committed to diversity and inclusion efforts. This position represents the department of Student Athlete Academic Support Services on various university-wide committees and when the Senior Director is out or unavailable.

Responsibilities:

• Direct supervisor to the staff learning specialists, professional staff tutors, and graduate interns.
• Manages a coordinated support plan for student-athletes who are at-risk of academic ineligibility.
• Lead liaison to the TeamWorks technology application program.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree.
• At least 4 years of college-level academic advising experience.
• Must be familiar with NCAA, Xavier, and Big East rules, regulations, and policies and procedures.

The annual salary as the Associate Director is non-negotiable and is set at $51,520 and will include benefits.
