Position Summary:

Develops unit strategy, identity and design standards, supervises staff, provides subject matter expertise consultation to stakeholders, and develops and maintains the unit budget to ensure institutional communications and marketing goals are achieved.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required. Major in communications, marketing or related field preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Required: at least five (5) years' related experience, plus supervisory experience.

Preferred experience: sole management of large, complex, high-budget communications or marketing projects; high comfort level with shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid pace. This position is not just a leader but also a doer and will have clients and projects.
