Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Psychology Program at Benedictine University invites applications for a full time, tenure-track assistant professor position in Developmental Psychology beginning Fall 2021. We are seeking collegial candidates eager to join a faculty team committed to creating a dynamic welcoming learning environment for our exceptionally diverse student population.

The ideal candidate should also have experience in openness to online teaching, experiential learning/learning communities and program assessment, and demonstrate the ability to reach our diverse student body (which includes significant religious diversity, as well as first generation, immigrant, and other non-traditional students). A Ph.D. in Psychology is required. ABDs will be considered, but candidates must have the Ph.D. in hand by the time of appointment.
Application Process: A letter of application, CV, and the names of three references should be submitted. The letter of application should include a brief teaching philosophy, research agenda, and explanation of how the candidate will further the department's commitment to engaged learning and to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
