Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Adjunct Professor of the Science of Food and Cooking.

The candidate would be expected to: teach 3 - 6 credits per semester.

Master's degree

Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

Required Years of Experience:

Other Requirements:
Master’s degree or higher in biology, chemistry, physics, or nutrition with a demonstrated interest in food preparation and cooking.

Ability to effectively deliver content in chemistry, physics, and biochemistry as it relates to foods and cooking methods, perform related demonstrations, and assist students with hands-on cooking activities.

Available for three-hour class sessions and a one-hour preparation period prior to each class.


Preferred Qualifications:
Personal or professional experience in the preparation of a variety of everyday foods from basic ingredients.
