English Composition: Assistant Professor, appointment stream, beginning Fall 2021
Requirements: Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition and a minimum of three to five years of university teaching experience. Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds is required.
The successful candidate must present:
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness that takes advantage of diverse learning strategies and technologies to enhance student learning
- Evidence of teaching introductory writing courses that emphasize public engagement or experiential learning
- Evidence of participating in programmatic assessment and curriculum design for first-year writing and humanities courses; implementation of assessment-based programmatic improvements
