Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for Adjunct Professors in the Career Services department.

The candidate would be expected to: teach a one credit course designed to help students prepare to compete successfully in the job market. Topics covered include resume writing, interview skills, job search strategies, business etiquette, internet job search methods, cover letters and relevant written and electronic correspondence; using employment services, etc.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree

Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

Required Years of Experience: 5

Other Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Five years of progressively responsible experience in career counseling, human resources, recruiting or a highly-relevant area sufficient to obtain the skills and knowledge base needed to teach the elements of the class.


Preferred Qualifications:
Concentration in Business, Human Resources, or other related field.
