The Office of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity (OSCAI) at Old Dominion University is accepting applications for the Residential Conduct Coordinator (full-time, 12 month) position. This position will assume primary responsibility for coordinating the resolution of referrals from Housing and Residence Life (HRL). Other duties include: implement programming and assessment initiatives that promote a culture of personal and academic integrity within Residence Life; serve as a Conduct Officer for academic and nonacademic violations of the Code of Student Conduct and assist in the general administration of the student conduct system.

Required Education: Master’s degree in student affairs, higher education, law, psychology, sociology or other related field from a regionally accredited institution.

Required Qualifications: Prior experience adjudicating student conduct cases as a student conduct officer or conduct board member/advisor. Knowledge of applicable legal issues and best practices related to student conduct and conflict resolution. Attention to detail and exceptional oral and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with students, faculty, and academic affairs administrators. Ability to plan, implement, and assess new programs and initiatives. Sound decision-making skills and ability to exercise independent judgment. Comfort with and demonstrated commitment to diversity and fostering a collaborative multicultural environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in residence life or housing which can be as a pre-professional or undergraduate. Experience with Maxient’s Conduct Manager software. Prior attendance at the Donald D. Gehring Academy for Student Conduct Administration.
