Assistant Professor in Engineering – Tenure Track

With the Knowlton Center, a new $25 million engineering, physics, computing, and math building under construction, slated to open in January of 2021, there has never been a better time to bring your talents to BW and shape the future of engineering with us.


We seek a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin August of 2021. A Ph.D. in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, or closely related field is preferred, although candidates near degree completion will be considered. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in design and manufacturing, mechatronics, systems engineering, structural engineering, and can contribute to our degree program in these areas. Qualified candidates in other areas of engineering are encouraged to apply as well. Dedication to undergraduate teaching and mentoring of laboratory, research and design projects is of importance.
