The Department of Mathematics at Limestone University is seeking a full-time Lecturer of Mathematics to begin in August 2021.  This continuing but non-tenure-track position requires a master’s degree in mathematics or statistics and involves teaching 15 credit hours per semester of lower level courses in mathematics and elementary statistics.  The salary will be competitive among institutions comparable to Limestone University and the local cost of living.

The successful candidate will demonstrate dedication to quality teaching and cooperative work within the mathematics department.  Experience using computer learning systems and a course management system is strongly desired.  Successful experience teaching online courses, non-traditional students, and non-math major students is also highly desired.  Willingness to follow departmental syllabi and standards is necessary.  Lecturers fully participate in departmental and university meetings.  Their work is instrumental in departmental action on course revisions affecting the courses they teach.

Interested candidates should complete the online application and upload a letter of application, resume/vita, graduate transcripts, and three letters of recommendation.  You may direct inquiries to Dr. Brian Ameling, Dean of the School of Natural and Health Sciences at bameling@limestone.edu or by mail to Limestone University, 1115 College Drive, Gaffney, SC 29340.  *Resumes may not be submitted in lieu of the application.  As part of the pre-employment process, the selected candidate must be willing to consent to and pass with satisfactory results, an investigative consumer report.
