Position Summary:

The Biology Major Program is seeking a motivated, caring individual to join our student services team. The advisors serve students in both colleges, though for personnel purposes their positions are formally located within the Department of Bacteriology. The Biology Major academic advisors serve approximately 1,200 students. The Biology Major is designed for students who are interested in a broad exposure to the concepts and methodologies of the biological sciences, as well as those interested in a more specific sub-discipline. There are currently two specialized options within the major, in Evolutionary Biology and Plant Biology.
