Assistant Coach (Seasonal) - Women's Lacrosse

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Position Summary: Assistant coach of the Women's Lacrosse team there to support the head coach by assisting with practices and games along with planning of team practices and travel for games. Looking for someone with past coaching or playing experience and a solid knowledge of the sport and working with young women.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in creating and executing practice plans
  • Being present at all practices and games
  • Running drills throughout practice
  • Driving to and from games, schools buses for local games
  • Assisting with travel plans and meals for the team


Required Qualifications:



Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience: Previous coaching experience required.

Specific Skills: Knowledge of NCAA Division III philosophy, recruitment, rules and regulations.

Specific Knowledge, Licenses, Certifications: Organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and supervisory skills; valid driver’s license required

Physical Requirements: Ability to handle varying levels of stress while maintaining professional demeanor. Possible lifting, bending, walking, kneeling, stretching, and stooping. Frequent districtwide and statewide travel; frequent prolonged and irregular hours; outdoor exposure to sun/heat or cold weather.
Ability to speak clearly so listeners can understand. Understand the speech of another person.
See details of objects that are less than a few feet away or are more than a few feet away. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. General Customer service and office environment.

Working Conditions: Nights and weekends required.
