The Opportunity
Reporting to theCampus Directoryou will join a team of passionate staff who are playing their part in making sure that we arehere to deliver an exceptional learning experience for students.

On a typical day in this role you will:

  • Provide outstanding and consistent customer service to staff, students, prospective students and the broader campus community via a “one-stop-shop”
  • Promote a positive and inclusive attitude, and deliver a friendly community for students and staff
  • Contribute to planning and delivering student transition and retention activities, including orientation, revival weeks and promotion of workshops, trips, seminars and other events
  • Collaborate with Success Coaches, Library, Learning and Technology hub and the academic communities in supporting students
  • Respond to student enquiries face to face, with the expectation of continuing customer services through channels such as email and phone
  • Ensure high-quality, accurate and timely processing of all student records or enquiries administered on campus including admissions, enrolment, transcripts and statements of attainment, initiating academic processes, complying with external regulatory requirements and company policies

  • This is aPermanent Full Timeposition based at ourPyrmontCampusin the heart of the Sydney CBD.

    Who are you?
    To be successful in theStudent Service Advisorposition you will have:

  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills with positive can-do attitude.
  • An aptitude and familiarity with organising events through social media platforms
  • Microsoft Office suite familiarity – particularly running pivot tables and handling data in Excel
  • Superb team player with the ability to relate to a diverse range of people and cultures.
  • Adaptable and proactive with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven organisational skills with an ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while working under pressure.
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or previous work experience within an education environment is highly desirable but not essential.

  • Enthusiastic and creative, you thrive in a dynamic team environment, where every day is different. Given the nature of this full time student facing role, a successful candidate will need to be resilient and have strong resolution skills. Having a passion for people is fundamental in maintaining our campus communities where students are able to approach you with an array of enrolment enquiries in a friendly and supportive environment.
