About the Opportunity:
The Physician Assistant Program seeks a Program Manager to join their growing team, within the School of Clinical Rehabilitation Sciences in the Bouve College of Health Sciences. The School of Clinical Rehabilitation Sciences, comprised of three Departments: The Department of Communications and Disorders, The Department of Physical Therapy, Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences and the Physician Assistant Program collectively employs 44 Full-time Faculty and 11 Full-time Staff.

Bouve College of Health Sciences is comprised of three preeminent schools of study encompassing approximately 1,000 faculty and staff, 5,000 students, and 40,000 alumni.

Please note: The primary work location for this position is the Boston MA Northeastern University Campus Location. Until our full return to campus, which is still to-be-determined, this interview process will be conducted remotely- including virtual interviews, remote onboarding and remote work. The remote nature of this position is subject to change in the future and is only temporary. Local, on-campus work will be required once the College and this role return to an operational status that supports it.

Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to Program Director, the Program Manager of the Physician Assistant Program will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the administrative operations of the clinical education component of the curriculum, including support of the clinical faculty and clinical sites. The Program Manager will act as the main contact for the clinical education team, operating at several different levels in order to establish and maintain smooth operations of clinical education administrative functions. This Program manager will be responsible for the development and coordination of data tracking, data reporting, and electronic program management. The Program Manager contributes to the overall effectiveness and daily operations of the office.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a professional business, medical, or academic setting required
  • Computer skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Strong command of the English language, including verbal, writing, grammar, and spelling skills required.



Preferred Qualifications:

Must have excellent planning and time management skills and an ability to orchestrate multiple priorities from multiple sources in a busy environment; ability to anticipate, organize, prioritize, and plan for and organize workflow is essential. Must possess strong customer-service orientation toward both internal and external customers. Must be flexible and have evidence of success working in a team environment. Proven ability to manage confidential information is required and strong attention to detail is essential. Must be able to multi-task and work independently.
