Assistant Professor in Computer Information Systems & Technology (CIS&T), Tenure-stream, beginning Fall 2021 

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is currently seeking for the position of an Assistant Professor of CIS&T (tenure stream) in the Division of Management and Education, beginning Fall 2021.  

Requirements: Ph.D. or an ABD (degree completion date required) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a closely related field, with a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates. Scholarship, advising, and service activities are required. Candidates experienced working with college students from diverse backgrounds, and experience in the field of expertise are encouraged to apply. At least three to five years of university level teaching experience is required. 

Applicants must be able to teach 12 credits per semester, in CIS&T with courses in Cybersecurity and Computer Technology. Preferred courses include Cryptography, intrusion detection, digital forensics, information assurance and ethical hacking.  Preference will be given to applicants with relevant work experience.  Candidates experienced working with college students from diverse backgrounds, and applied experience in the field of expertise are encouraged to apply.
