Summary
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a qualified physician to fill a critical role at the Texas Children's and Methodist hospitals - Maternal Fetal Medicine Division.
Job Duties
Clinical responsibilities will be assigned by your Chair and Division Director and may be altered in response to changing Departmental and Division needs. Specific responsibilities are negotiable and dependent upon Candidate interest and expertise. Candidate will be expected to work primarily at the Pavilion for Women at Texas Children's Hospital. There will also be an expectation to participate in research and educational activities in the department.
All faculty are expected to participate in the education mission of the College.
Candidate must agree to discharge their duties and responsibilities faithfully, to abide by all rules, regulations, and policies and to devote to the performance of your duties and responsibilities the amount of time and effort for which you are employed by the College. Candidate will be allowed to spend up to one-fifth of your effort on activities outside BCM (consulting, scientific board service, etc.), but outside time commitments beyond this require prior approval of the Chair and Division Director.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have an M.D. degree and be board certified or eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
- Candidate must have, or be eligible for a valid Texas Medical Board License.
