University Housing at Coastal Carolina University (CCU) seeks dynamic individuals to apply for the position of Associate Director for Resident Success. The Associate Director is a live-off position serving as a member of the University Housing leadership team reporting to the Director of Resident Success; in collaboration with the Director, this position provides leadership of the Resident Success unit in within University Housing. The Associate Director directly supervises three Assistant Directors for Resident Success, indirectly supervises 12 Community Coordinators and 112 Resident Advisers, and is directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of the on-campus residential communities, housing approximately 4,700 residents.
Duties of the Associate Director include, but are not limited to: direct and indirect supervision of professional and student staff, management of conduct and incident/case management, management of co-curricular engagement and programming, response to crisis and emergencies and serving in a senior-level on-call rotation, management of student staff training, oversight of budget planning and management, collaboration on professional staff recruitment/training, and modeling, promoting, and ensuring exceptional customer service delivery.
Qualifications: Master’s degree and five (5) years of relevant experience in a university or college student housing setting is required. In addition, prior experience supervising professional housing staff is required. Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable three (3) year driving record. A master’s degree in College Student Personnel, Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, or related field and progressively increasing responsibilities with live-in/on experience are preferred. A successful candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills with public presentation ability. This position requires evening and weekend responsibilities during peak times of the year and the ability to attend overnight conferences and drive state vehicles transporting staff and students for work functions, including students attending regional and national conferences. The Associate Director position is considered “essential personnel” and is required to participate in campus-wide emergencies such as weather and structural emergencies.

Student Services Manager II (CB80/113597), Full-time position with benefits. SC State pay band 07. Compensation includes a highly competitive salary and benefits package. Primary work hours are Mondays through Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the scheduling needs of the University.
