We are a NSA and DHS designated National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (CAE-CDE), and one of the world's few cybersecurity programs accredited by ABET CAC. Apart from a 7-year old BS program, we also offer a new MS program. The department has state-of-the-art facilities, including a Cyber Lab, GSOC, and an upcoming Cyber Warfare Range for class activities and research.

As a faculty candidate you should have demonstrated ability or possess industry experience to design, develop, and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in CIS or a related discipline. We are interested in CIS subject areas, such as: data science; digital forensics; ethical hacking; malware and vulnerability analysis, and reverse engineering; embedded and industrial control systems; wireless and mobile security; database system, software, and cloud computing security; cyber-physical systems; and, the Internet-of-Things. You will also participate in the development of our Cyber Lab and warfare range.
In addition to teaching and university service such as mentoring and committees, you are expected to engage in professional and scholarly activities. Our university has several initiatives that encourage faculty members to engage in STEM research. Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communications skills and a strong command of the English language are required.

ERAU-PC is a small, private, not for profit, residential university. Low student/faculty ratio interactions are highly valued and is central to the university appeal. Collaboration with other departments is encouraged, as well as with organizations in the area including the Arizona Cyber Threat Response Alliance boasting over 100 companies small and global. Our students have landed coveted scholarships such as the DoD Cyber Scholarship Program and internship/full-time jobs at US government agencies, DoD, and various private organizations. We have offered international competitions at conferences such as DEF CON.

Prescott is rated one of the most desirable destinations in the Southwest. At over 5300 feet elevation, Prescott has a mild climate, clean air, and wonderful outdoor opportunities. It is 100 miles north of Phoenix and over 20-30 degrees cooler in summers— earning its title as Arizona's Christmas City! Spectacular views and trails of the Grand Canyon, Page, and Sedona are close by. Families enjoy good schools, and we have no difficulty with traffic. Prescott boasts the world's oldest continuously running rodeo and largest collection of western art.
