Position Category: Staff - Full-Time

Summary:
IT services at UVU is seeking a Senior Business Partner. This role is responsible for leveraging and managing ERP platforms. Focus primarily being the subject matter expert for an ERP area and will be responsible for the strategic and operational aspects of the ERP product. Responsible for understanding business processes and configuring ERP modules to improve efficiency. Gather and define requirements and manage development projects.

Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited institution with a Bachelor’s degree in related field plus six years of experience related; OR Associate’s degree in related field plus eight years of experience related to the essential functions/duties of the position OR any combination of higher education and experience directly related to the essential functions/duties totaling ten years.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Extensive knowledge of relational database concepts including SQL, data modeling, and leveraging of existing APIs.
  • Familiarity with system engineering concepts.
  • Ability to understand functional business processes to guide strategic recommendations on the use of ERP features, integration of third-party solutions, or utilization of custom in-house development.
  • Knowledge of project management and experience with requirements gathering to efficiently translate business ideas into functional requirements or user stories.
  • Business analysis, business knowledge, business change management, and functional architecture design.
  • Baseline skills in software engineering and creation of test plans.
  • Technical writing and documentation.
  • Strong customer service.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and exercise effective interpersonal, problem-solving, team-oriented, and decision-making skills where a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Ability to resolve problems by thinking logically, identifying tasks, and coordinating with functional and technical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Ability to collaborate with developers, functional users, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to keep current with industry standards and trends by attending training and conferences, reading technical material, and collaborating with other professionals.


Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited institution with a Master’s degree in related field plus four years of experience; OR bachelor’s degree in a related field and six years of experience related to the summary of duties; OR an associate’s degree and eight years of experience related to the summary of duties; OR any combination of education and/or experience related to the summary of duties totaling ten years.

Pay Range: $63,151 - $78,939
