Community Manager & Lead Content Developer/IDS-CAEC NC

Overview
Employment Status: Full-time (40 hours a week), temporary "exempt" benefited position through October 31, 2021 (with the possibility of a one-year renewable appointment based on availability of work, availability of funds and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $4,833.33 - 6,666.67 per month
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Incumbent must be able to participate in remote or on campus work depending on the directives from the CSUSB campus.
Deadline: This position will remain open until filled. Applications will be reviewed beginning November 4, 2020.
Typical Activities
Typical duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Craft email marketing campaigns, digital marketing materials, and physical marketing materials.
- Attend conferences across the United States to work exhibitor booths & give informational talks.
- Travel to other University and Colleges around the United States to mentor/train educational faculty/staff on using the product.
- Provide virtual training sessions for educational faculty/staff on using the product.
- Manage an agile development team of full time and student developers.
- Design, build, and maintain functional contextualized technical environments in unison with a small agile team.
- Design, build, and maintain technical cybersecurity labs in unison with a small agile team.
- Assist in the continued development and maintenance of dev and test virtualization infrastructure.
- Scoping development effort, resource requirements, and timeline estimates for assigned tasks.
- Continuous learning of various cybersecurity and technical knowledge/tools as needed for the development of new technical cybersecurity labs.
- Field support queries from various users, including those which require active technical troubleshooting.
- Mentor student developers with varying knowledge levels and skill sets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Should be familiar with most of the following:
- Scrum/Agile Project Management Methodologies.
- Online Communications Platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Slack, Microsoft Teams, etc).
- NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (NIST SP 800-181).
- Virtualization Concepts & Technologies (VMware, Openstack, etc).
- Networking Fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, IPv4, IPv6, Subnet, Vlan, etc).
- Network/Systems Monitoring Tools (Icinga, Nagios, etc).
- Scripting Languages (Bash, Powershell, etc).
- Programming Languages (Python, Ruby, etc).
- Common Databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Postgresql, etc) & SQL.
- Modern Server & Desktop Operating Systems (Windows Server/Desktop, Linux, Unix).
- Security Tool Suites (Metasploit, Burp, Beef, NMap, etc).
- Automation Tools (Puppet, Chef, etc).
- Code SCM Tools (Git, Subversion, etc).
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- 1 Year of Marketing, Sales, or Community Management Experience.
- 1 Year of Project Management Experience.
- 2 Years of Relevant Technical Experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working directly with students and educational staff at both the K-12 and higher education levels.
- Experience creating and/or maintaining technical educational labs.
