Class Description

Adjunct Mathematics faculty are needed to teach day and evening developmental math, statistics, and other credit level courses at the Community College of Baltimore County (campus may vary). Faculty facilitate learning by preparing and delivering instruction, cooperate with College support staff by timely submission of materials for duplication and grades, and coordinate activities with the discipline coordinator.

Adjunct faculty will be available to help students during one office hour each week (for each class), will participate in some Departmental or College activities, and are encouraged to participate in professional development.

Adjunct faculty may teach up to 22 credit hours each year and teach no more than 11 credits each semester.

Level 1 - $855 per credit hour

Minimum Requirements

Requirements: Bachelor's degree with extensive mathematics teaching experience at secondary or post-secondary level; or a Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or related field.
