Lesley seeks an Executive Administrator in the Office of the President, who will serve as the highly visible principal aide to the President and lead operations of the President's Office, using superb office and project management skills to ensure flawless execution of multiple priorities.
The selected individual, reporting directly to the President, will create a welcoming environment for all visitors to the office of the President; develop an understanding of business priorities for use in prioritizing meeting requests and managing complex calendars; support meeting planning, preparation, and follow-up; manage email Inbox, responding on behalf of the President; draft letters, summaries, or other documents; develop and provide research, analysis, and outlines related to speaking engagements and other communications; prepare high quality reports and presentations; manage expense reporting, process vendor invoices, and support budget process; complete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring progress and problem-solving; maintain confidential files and records; and use discretion and diplomacy to collaborate and build relationships across the institution with faculty, professional staff, and students, supporting organizational change and transformation.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years' working in the office of a President/CEO or equivalent experience; exceptional organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical, critical thinking, collaboration, and project management skills; experience communicating with all levels within a university or organizational environment and with external constituents; experience with effective meeting preparation, execution, and follow-up; proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision; demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to meet the dynamic nature of the institution; ability to manage multiple tasks with a strong attention to detail in a high-performing, fast-paced work environment with a sense of humor; advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office suite, Zoom, and Teams. Some evening and weekend work required. High degree of confidentiality a must.
