Job Summary/Basic Function
Capacity to teach a range of graduate courses in the Exercise Science Program including, but not limited to Exercise Physiology, Research Methods, Statistics, Biomechanics, ECG & Exercise Prescription for Special Populations, Human Performance (Strength, Speed, Conditioning?), and/or Community Physical Activity. Be involved in professional service to the university, department, community, and profession.
The Department of Health Professions seeks to fill the position of full professor for its M.S. in Exercise Science Program. Candidate will also assist in student recruitment for the department, preform program evaluation, student advising and other assignments directed by the Department Chair or the Program Director. This is a full time 10-month benefited teaching position. Because Liberty University is a strong Evangelical Christian university, all faculty members are yearly contracted. Liberty University is a non-tenure granting University.
Minimum Qualifications
Successful candidate must have an earned doctorate degree (PhD, EdD) in exercise science or related field. Evidence of successful teaching at the university level. Evidence of scholarly activity. NSCA and/or ACSM certified is desirable. Liberty University is a Christian liberal arts university which only employs faculty who can demonstrate a personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to its evangelical Christian purpose.

Successful candidate must have an earned doctorate degree (PhD, EdD) in exercise science or related field. Evidence of successful teaching at the university level. Evidence of scholarly activity. NSCA and/or ACSM certified is desirable.
